Career Exploration at Value Schools

One of the exciting new ways to give back to our community is by creating a career exploration day at your business. We are asking our friends to create an interactive half- or full-day experience where students learn and explore the careers inside your business or organization. Opportunities like this provide our students a chance to connect their education with real world experience. Carry Foundation Inspiring Our Future Doctors from Value Schools

For many years, world-renowned dermatologist Dr. Pearl Grimes has been an inspiring mentor and advocate for Value Schools students. On Saturday, she hosted the second session of the CARRY Foundation Speaker Series, providing an invaluable experience for our aspiring doctors from University Prep and Central City Value High Schools. The students had the opportunity to meet orthopedic surgeon Dr. Sonu S. Ahluwalia, MD, from Cedars-Sinai Hospital, along with medical student Nicole C. Oparaugo.
